About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Virtual Contact Centre Sales Advisor to join our successful Digital Sales Team at Hays Travel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging with customers who have shown an interest in booking a holiday with us, working in a fast-paced and highly motivational sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and respond to customer inquiries, identifying and meeting their needs to provide a personalized holiday experience.
  • Build rapport with customers to gain trust and commitment, conducting research to find the perfect holiday solution.
  • Accurately input information to book holidays on various supplier systems, providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Add value to the customer experience by arranging transfers, insurance, experiences, and other applicable extras.
  • Conduct daily and effective callbacks with customers to ensure their holiday needs are met.
  • Achieve individual performance targets and sales objectives, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Treat all employees, customers, and suppliers with dignity and respect, conforming to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills, with a proven track record in sales and the ability to negotiate and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong administration skills, with excellent time management skills and the ability to listen and engage with customers.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, with excellent communication skills and a telephone manner.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment, with excellent descriptive skills as selling over a digital platform.
  • Customer-focused, with problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with excellent communication skills and experience of working in a targeted environment with a proven sales record.
  • Customer service and 2 years recent direct travel sales experience.
