About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our client school, a SEND Secondary School based in Skelmersdale. The role is for a 12-month maternity cover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated English lessons that engage and support students with SEND.
  • Work closely with the SEND team to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and provide additional support where needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development of students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience of teaching English to students with SEND are essential. We welcome applications from primary teachers who have a passion for SEND education and hold QTS.
