English Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced English teacher to join our team at a Skelmersdale SEN secondary school. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students with varying abilities and needs
  2. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and abilities
  3. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
  5. Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements:
  1. QTS and up-to-date DBS on the update service or willingness to undertake a full and enhanced DBS check
  2. Experience of teaching English to students with special educational needs
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
