About the Team
The Litigation, Regulatory and Public Law team stands out as a leader in the health, social care, and local government sectors, with an expanding footprint in financial services, commercial, and higher education. This team operates within the Litigation, Advisory & Regulatory department, addressing significant commercial, regulatory, and public law disputes. They represent a variety of public entities such as local authorities, health trusts, and statutory bodies, as well as higher education institutions and private sector providers.

Role Overview
The firm is seeking a solicitor with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience to join their vibrant litigation, advisory, and regulatory team, serving a mix of public and private sector clients across various fields. This role will concentrate on regulatory and public law matters. The successful applicant will be involved in:
- Providing counsel to regulatory bodies across sectors, including financial services and professional discipline, regarding their regulatory powers, including managing appeals and public law challenges.
- Advising ombudsman schemes on decision-making processes and handling complaints.
- Guiding public service providers and regulators on decision-making, including the implications of judicial review.
- Managing judicial review claims in the High Court and appellate courts.
- Assisting clients in responding to regulatory interventions.
- Supporting clients during public inquiries, including advice on disclosure obligations.
