About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our rides and attractions. This will involve completing planned maintenance tasks, responding to unplanned downtime, and championing health and safety best practices.

You will work closely with our operations team to ensure that our rides are safe, secure, and operating efficiently. This will involve interacting with guests, responding to queries, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete planned maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our rides and attractions
  2. Respond to unplanned downtime and carry out fault finding to resolve issues
  3. Champion health and safety best practices and ensure compliance with departmental procedures
  4. Interact with guests, respond to queries, and provide excellent customer service
  5. Work closely with the operations team to ensure the smooth operation of our rides and attractions
Requirements
  • Qualified to a City & Guild or NVQ level 2 or equivalent within an Electrical Engineering / Technician discipline
  • Experience of fault finding and use of programmable logic controls (PLCs) such as; Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi
  • Experience of working within a heavy industrial / automated environment such as; FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics, Airport or Theme Park
  • Knowledge and practical experience of various motor controls including inverters
  • Able to read and understand electrical drawings
  • Experience of PPM Systems of Work
