Building and Maintenance Specialist

This role involves performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of apartment complexes and other residential properties. The ideal candidate will have experience working with power tools, handling heavy loads, and performing physical labor.
Key Responsibilities- Sweep, mop, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent odors and pests.
- Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and well-maintained appearance.
- Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Perform safety and security checks to ensure the property is secure.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain the property.
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
- Work with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently.
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to maintain a safe environment.
This role requires experience working with power tools, handling heavy loads, and performing physical labor. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
