Job Title: Business Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Business Administrator to join our team at the Loughborough Centre for Sustainable Transitions: Energy, Environment and Resilience (STEER). As a key member of our Climate Compatible Growth (CCG) programme, you will provide administrative support to our Programme Management Team, ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Programme Management Team, including coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, and document preparation.
  • Assist with basic finance duties, such as expense tracking and budget monitoring.
  • Support the organisation and coordination of CCG Summer Schools and other international events.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including programme partners and beneficiaries.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dynamic administrative role, preferably in a research or academic setting.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong understanding of cultural differences and ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to travel internationally to support CCG capacity-building events.
