About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to lead their own research group within the department of Engineering at UCL Eastman Dental Institute. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented researcher to propose a programme of research of their choice, aligned with the interests of the department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching new modules, offering mentorship and support to their team, acting as personal tutor for students on our taught programmes, supervising student projects, and contributing to the effective running of the department.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a PhD level degree or equivalent in Engineering, the Physical Sciences, Computer Science, or a relevant field. The successful candidate will have experience in producing independent, original, impactful, and rigorous research contributions in their field, as well as experience of supervising BSc, MSc, and PhD level students and delivering university-level teaching at either BSc or MSc level.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of research and teaching, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
