Job Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Medical Protection Society. As a Capital Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering best-in-class analysis to support capital modelling and actuarial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of annual capital assessment for MPS discretionary business
  • Develop and maintain the capital model used for the annual capital assessment
  • Collaborate with actuaries across the capital and reserving function on actuarial projects
  • Ensure the quality of data used in actuarial processes is of the highest standard
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in actuarial analysis and improve the use and understanding of actuarial analysis within MPS
The Ideal Candidate
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline, including finance, mathematics, statistics, data science, economics, or computer science
  • Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to present data and analysis clearly, both orally and in writing
