About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Nurse to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and families in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the Healthy Child Programme, including assessment of health needs, development, implementation, and evaluation of packages of care.
  • Work alongside SCPHN School Nurses to provide universal School Nursing services to support aspects of a child/Young person's development and health.
  • Provide leadership and act as a positive role model by supporting colleagues and demonstrating excellent standards of care.
  • Undertake mentorship responsibilities for pre-registration students whilst on placement within the service and provide preceptorship to support new staff members.
  • Participate in regular safeguarding supervision and opportunities for continued professional development.
