Role Overview

As a Unified Communications Systems Administrator, you will work closely with our practices, partners, team members, and service providers to oversee our existing telephony services and facilitate the transition of our analogue customers to appropriate digital solutions. This role offers the chance to continuously innovate our operational processes and contribute to our ongoing expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HQ teams and Practice Partners to provide support for all telecommunications and UC-related issues.
  • Manage vendor relationships with key service providers, encompassing both on-premises and cloud services.
  • Oversee critical incident management, ensuring prompt restoration of services and implementing root cause fixes and preventative measures.
  • Engage with service providers, utilizing portals as necessary, to raise and escalate support inquiries until resolution.
  • Assess current provisions and offer suitable technical and commercial recommendations for upgrades and replacements.
  • Partner with practice leaders to transition on-premises telephony systems to cloud-based solutions.
  • Stay informed about digital switchover initiatives and emerging technologies that could enhance business operations.
  • Adapt to changes in work priorities and undertake additional duties as needed to ensure the efficient functioning of services.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a customer-oriented team player with excellent communication abilities. Possessing extensive knowledge of telephony and UC solutions, you will be adept at resolving issues and proposing forward-thinking solutions. Your experience may include roles such as account manager or sales executive within the telecommunications sector, enabling you to assess needs effectively and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders while understanding the significance of meeting operational demands.
