Aftersales Service Technician

About the Role
The Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Aftersales Service Engineer to join their team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and service of radio paging and radio speech & data equipment at UK customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and service of radio communication systems and low voltage electrical systems
- Provide expert installation, service, customer training, and advice with the Company's products
- Attend monthly training on all products, including paging, two-way radios, transmitters, aerials, and GEN2 Cloud
- Provide second-line customer support when the Customer Service team needs to escalate
- Support the pre-sale sales team with site surveys
- Support post-installation/commissioning documentation for CRM
Requirements
- Excellent understanding and hands-on capability of installation of low voltage electrical systems
- Understanding of radio communication systems and IT networking
- Experience working in a field service role
- Strong PC skills, including all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills to build relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
- Experience from broadband, alarm systems, or security would be beneficial
- ECS / CSCS Card would be desirable
What We Offer
The salary offered for this position is £32,000- £42,000 to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
