About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Engineer to join our Water Engineering team. As a Water Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and delivering water engineering projects, including flood risk and surface water management, from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage water engineering projects, including flood risk and surface water management, from concept to completion.
  • Develop and implement water engineering solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hydraulic modellers, engineers, and environmental consultants, to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including government agencies, private sector companies, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to deliver high-quality projects.
Requirements
  • Chartered Water Engineer (CIWEM or ICE) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in water engineering, including flood risk and surface water management.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience of leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
