About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wastewater Modeller to join our Water Consulting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional water services to foster a resilient, eco-friendly, and thriving Northwest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions, including hydraulic modelling and analysis, model use studies, optioneering, and cost-benefit analysis studies.
  • Awareness of solution feasibility and buildability engineering factors.
  • Continuous improvement of tools, procedures, and processes to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Ensuring quality of outputs and compliance with standards, specifications, and governance requirements.
  • Leading a team to build, maintain, and manage strong and collaborative working relationships with clients.
  • Line Management of project team members, including day-to-day leadership and direction, workload planning and prioritisation, provision of technical direction and support, driving staff performance, motivation, and career development.
About You

We are looking for a degree-qualified professional with a strong background in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and/or related wastewater infrastructure areas. You will have a working knowledge of relevant legislation and water industry regulation, as well as expertise in InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange. Experience using FME, Optimatics, and Python would be an advantage.
