About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wastewater Modeller to join our Water Consulting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional water services to foster a resilient, eco-friendly, and thriving Northwest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions, including hydraulic modelling and analysis, model use studies, optioneering, and cost-benefit analysis studies.
  • Awareness of solution feasibility and buildability engineering factors.
  • Continuous improvement of tools, procedures, and processes to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Ensuring quality of outputs and compliance with standards, specifications, and governance requirements.
  • Leading a team to build, maintain, and manage strong and collaborative working relationships with clients.
  • Line Management of project team members with responsibility for day-to-day leadership and direction, workload planning and prioritisation, provision of technical direction and support, driving staff performance, motivation, and career development.
About You

We are looking for a degree-qualified candidate with a strong background in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and/or related wastewater infrastructure areas. You will have a working knowledge of relevant legislation and water industry regulation, as well as expertise in InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange. Additionally, you will have proficiency in MS 365 applications, including advanced Excel, PowerBI, and SharePoint, and working knowledge of GIS Systems, such as MapInfo, ArcGIS, and QGIS. Experience with FME, Optimatics, and Python is an advantage.
