Position Overview:

The Heating Systems Technician will be responsible for the comprehensive servicing, repair, and maintenance of domestic heating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on domestic heating systems.
  • Execute tasks in compliance with specifications and gas safety regulations.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and uphold safety standards.
  • Participate in on-call duties, including overtime and emergency response.

  • Report all incidents, near misses, or potential hazards promptly.
  • Conduct additional maintenance tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Formal training with relevant craft qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
  • ACS Certifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT.
  • Desirable qualifications include LPG and UNVENTED.
  • Strong understanding of gas legislation.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, demonstrating exceptional service skills.
