Job Title: Apprentice Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apprentice Gas Engineer to join our team at Example Recruitment Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and repair solutions to our clients in the private sector.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Gas Engineer to work on an ongoing service & repair contract in the Roundhay, Morley & Horsforth area. You will be working with a heating contractor who requires self-employed heating engineers to carry out annual service visits, landlord gas safety records, and central heating repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out annual service visits and gas safety checks on residential properties
  2. Perform central heating repairs and maintenance work
  3. Work with a tablet device to pre-book appointments and diagnose system and boiler faults
  4. Use Exsol computer diagnosis system to diagnose faults within 10 checks
  5. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve targets and meet client expectations
Requirements:
  1. 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
  2. ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
  3. Panel Van (plain or sign written)
  4. Gas Safe Registration
  5. Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
  6. £2m Public Liability Insurance
  7. No unspent criminal convictions
