**Job Title: Sous Chef**

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Malmaison. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute special events and functions, such as weddings and corporate events.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
