Job Description

Urenco Capenhurst is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planning Manager to join our team. As a global leader in the production of low carbon energy, we are committed to delivering exceptional results in a safe, compliant, and reliable manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery, development, and implementation of the Enrichment Maintenance Planning capability. This will involve developing an aligned and integrated approach to planning, prioritizing, coordinating, and delivering maintenance services across the Capenhurst site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance planning strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Manage a small team of maintenance planners and their associated output.
  • Apply and improve standards and policies for maintenance planning, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance planners define safe and efficient methodologies for all maintenance tasks, using PDCA to continually improve the maintenance cycle.
  • Provide KPI reports and performance metrics to inform data-driven decision making.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant project management qualification.
  • Extensive experience as a technical planner, including leading a small team in a technical environment.
  • Experience in developing complex plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate requirements to all levels of the organization and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with engineering and maintenance standards/specifications and requirements in a highly regulated environment.
  • Ability to plan technical activities, allocate resources, and allocate budget to plans.
