About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Planning Manager to join our team at Urenco Capenhurst. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery, development, and implementation of the Enrichment Maintenance Planning capability in a safe, compliant, and reliable manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an aligned and integrated approach to Enrichment Maintenance Planning Services, ensuring efficient and effective operation of Enrichment operational business units.
  • Manage a small team of Maintenance Planners and their associated output, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality results.
  • Apply and improve standards and policies for Maintenance Planning, harmonizing a One Capenhurst approach to planning and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure Maintenance Planners define safe and efficient methodologies for all maintenance tasks, using PDCA to continually improve the maintenance cycle.
  • Provide KPI reports and performance metrics to inform data-driven decision making, focusing on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP).
Requirements
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant Project Management qualification.
  • Extensive experience as a technical planner, including leading a small team in a technical environment.
  • Experience in developing complex plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate requirements to all levels of the organization and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with engineering and maintenance standards/specifications in a highly regulated environment.
  • Ability to plan technical activities, allocate resources, and allocate budget to plans.
