As an Electrical Technician - Asset Condition Monitoring Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our customers operate safer, stronger, and more reliable networks.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to work closely with our team of experts in delivering service projects, utilizing market-leading partial discharge detection instruments and various complementary electrical testing techniques. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality service projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Utilizing advanced condition assessment techniques to monitor and analyze the condition of MV/HV assets.
- Developing and implementing asset condition data analysis techniques to improve our customers' network reliability.
- Providing general service support across the team and company, including occasional overseas and offshore work.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent HND/relevant degree level.
- An electrical background, with time-served electrician experience.
- Qualified to thermography Level 1, with knowledge of condition assessment MV/HV electricity distribution/transmission assets.
- Previous experience in HV testing/diagnostics/maintenance, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A valid passport and full UK driving license, with the flexibility to travel to client sites.
