We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team at the Digital Preservation Coalition as an Archives and Records Management Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in the development and implementation of our archives and records management strategies, ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of our collections.

About the Role

  • Support the development and implementation of archives and records management policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effective management and preservation of our archive collections
  • Advocate for the digital preservation offer for our Special Collections, Heritage and Archives
  • Contribute to the development of our archives and records management services

Requirements

  • A recognised professional qualification in archives and records management
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of archive metadata creation to recognised international standards
  • The ability to advocate for and develop the digital preservation offer for our Special Collections, Heritage and Archives
