Position Overview
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to become a part of our dedicated and innovative team of receptionists, working across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
As the initial point of contact for patients, you will embody a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors, whether in person or over the phone.
Your role will involve:
- Welcoming patients and guests to the practice, maintaining a friendly atmosphere at all times.
- Addressing general inquiries and clarifying practice protocols and procedures.
- Guiding patients to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Registering new NHS patients and providing essential information about our services.
- Processing requests for repeat prescriptions efficiently.
- Recording and relaying electronic communications to district nurses, health visitors, and other relevant staff.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
- Answering all incoming calls courteously and managing them effectively.
