Job Title: General Practitioner

Fell Tower Medical Centre is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join our team. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing a caseload, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of patients, providing routine and emergency care, and making professional decisions in relation to presenting problems.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop care plans in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols.
  • Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and refer patients to specialists as necessary.
  • Provide health education, counseling, and support to patients, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Full GMC Registration
  • Completion of GP Vocational Training Scheme/JCTGP Certificate
  • Evidence of entry to the Performers List
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices.
