Job Title: General Practitioner

Fell Tower Medical Centre is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join our team. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing a caseload, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of patients, providing routine and emergency care, and making professional decisions in relation to presenting problems.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop care plans in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols.
  • Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and refer patients to specialists as necessary.
  • Provide counseling and health education to patients, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of clinical standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Full GMC Registration.
  • Completion of GP Vocational Training Scheme/JCTGP Certificate.
  • Evidence of entry to the Performers List.
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work under pressure and make calm and confident decisions.
