Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to enhance our technical security posture and ensure that our IT infrastructure is developed and maintained securely.

The Information Security team is responsible for monitoring our operational environment, responding to alerts, and investigating anomalies identified through both automated systems and manual scrutiny.

As part of the Security Operations Centre (SOC), you will manage the complete process from alert generation to resolution, playing a critical role in our cyber incident management framework. This position requires you to be both an alert reviewer and a resolver, focusing on identifying issues rather than direct remediation.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the engineering team to outline tool requirements and integrate new functionalities. Additionally, you will partner with governance and compliance teams to ensure data is utilized appropriately.

We leverage industry-leading enterprise tools to detect threats, alongside custom scripts and online research. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring adaptability to evolving business priorities and threat landscapes.

This position is eligible for our hybrid working from home policy.

Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Proven experience in leading information security initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Extensive hands-on technical expertise in securing operating systems and utilizing security tools.
  • Experience in conducting security-related technical investigations.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard information security practices.
  • Knowledge of advancements in security technologies and their practical applications.
  • Understanding of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) at its current version.
  • Exceptional communication and documentation abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capability to meet deadlines.
  • A pragmatic approach to governance and risk management.
  • A committed, flexible, and proactive attitude towards work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the technical aspects of the incident management process related to information security incidents.
  • Conducting security investigations as necessary.
  • Managing daily security operations and serving as an escalation point when required.
  • Responding to and reporting on alerts generated by various monitoring systems.
  • Leading projects to ensure that information security considerations are integrated from the outset and throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the business while supporting team members.
  • Collaborating with the business to ensure compliance with information security requirements across different jurisdictions.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Participating actively in audits as needed.
