Role Purpose To deliver domestic and social assistance on an 'As and When' basis for an individual with health challenges.

Location: Buxton, Norfolk NR10

Position Details The individual requires support due to M.E. and a visual impairment, necessitating assistance with social interactions and activities. An existing personal assistant is in place, but additional support is sought for 5 hours weekly to assist with meal preparation, hygienic cleaning, some ironing, and to provide extra help during the absence of the current PA (which occurs during school holidays). This supplementary assistance will involve engaging in activities both at home and in the community. The individual enjoys DIY projects and gardening, and likes to go out, but requires someone who can drive their vehicle. The PA will also need to be capable of operating a wheelchair and assisting with practical tasks, though personal care is not required.
