We are seeking a reliable and patient individual to provide personal care and social support to a lady with a brain injury in Sprowston.
Job PurposeThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and social support to the lady, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication management, and accompaniment to appointments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to the lady, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with medication management and ensure the lady takes her medication as prescribed
- Accompany the lady to appointments and provide support as needed
- Assist with household tasks, including cleaning and laundry
- Provide social support and companionship to the lady, including engaging in activities such as art, crochet, and sewing
- Shared interests and a good sense of humour
- Patient and calm, not patronising
- Flexible and reliable
- Full clean driving licence
- Computer literate and familiar with Apple Mac (or willing to learn)
- Due to personal care in this role a female is preferred
The successful candidate will work 5 hours per week, 9.30am to 2.30 pm on Saturdays, plus flexible holiday/sickness cover as and when required.
Benefits- The rate of pay for this position is £14.00 per hour
