Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Warehouse Manager to lead our Fulfilment Operations Team at IKEA Wembley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, managing a team of co-workers, and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of co-workers to achieve business objectives and goals
  • Assign job duties and tasks to team members, ensuring effective use of resources and efficient workflow
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and communication
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock management and minimising waste
  • Implement and maintain a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to company policies and regulations
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and development opportunities, and address performance issues
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
  • Manage and control budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and achieving financial targets

Requirements

  • Relevant experience and proven performance in a logistics or retail management role
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and driving business results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with team members, stakeholders, and customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and supply chain operations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
