Primary Care Network Manager

The Glebe Practice is seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to join our team in supporting the Clinical Director in the delivery of the GP contract DES. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and inform innovative services in the area, working closely with partner providers to meet the local population's health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the Primary Care Network, including coordinating resource capacity and delivering strategic requirements, business developments, and redesign projects.
  • Interface and liaise with various organizations, including Network Practices, Lincolnshire ICB, NHS England, and local Neighbourhood teams.
  • Work autonomously, resolving issues independently and providing facilitation advice and support for project planning and quality assurance.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of a Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
  • Explore and implement new ways to improve quality of general practice and other primary care and community services.

Requirements:

  • Experience of service implementation and project management.
  • Ability to analyse, interpret, and present data.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and management information at a complex level.
  • Successful experience in financial and budgetary management, including understanding of detailed financial information, income, and expenditure.
  • Experience of involving communities in project development.
  • Clean driving license and access to own transport.
  • Knowledge of primary care, finance, and strategic planning for PCN development.
  • Experience of working in primary care and knowledge of quality improvement and service redesign tools/techniques.
  • Familiarity with NHS financial and accounting systems and processes.
