We are currently seeking 5 Postal Service Operatives for a temporary role, assisting a leading postal service provider.
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver letters and packages to both residential and commercial locations efficiently and promptly. You will navigate a designated route that may extend up to 10 miles per shift, ensuring timely completion while upholding high standards of integrity and providing excellent customer service.
Additional responsibilities may include sorting mail and parcels within the delivery center and delivering packages either on foot or using a vehicle.
This position requires working 5 shifts weekly, including Saturdays, with typical hours from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday, and a rest day during the week.
Please note that this role involves delivering mail on foot and may require driving delivery vehicles, so a valid UK driving licence is essential, with no more than 6 points for minor offences and no DR or IN endorsements.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
