Job Title: Postal Delivery Worker

Location: Banbury

Salary: £13.37 per hour

Hours: 8.00am to approximately 4.00pm, Monday to Saturday (with a rest day during the week)

We are currently recruiting 6 temporary Postal Delivery Workers to support Royal Mail at their Banbury Delivery Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering post and parcels to residential and commercial properties, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while maintaining high integrity standards and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering post and parcels to residential and commercial properties
  • Sorting mail and parcels within the delivery office
  • Operating Royal Mail vans for parcel delivery
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
  • Ability to drive Royal Mail vans
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Upbeat and self-motivated attitude
  • Good levels of fitness to meet the demands of the role
  • Excellent organisation skills and methodical approach
  • Resilience and flexibility in a dynamic work environment

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous delivery experience
  • Knowledge of the Banbury area and surrounding villages
