**Role Overview**

This is a new role working for an established market leader in marine excess of loss. The role will act as a deputy to a Senior Underwriter, with a clear view to managing the book and co-writing a medium to large book of marine XOL with a focus on FMX clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Act as a deputy to a Senior Underwriter in managing the marine XOL book
* Co-write a medium to large book of marine XOL with a focus on FMX clients
* Work closely with the Senior Underwriter to achieve growth aspirations

**Requirements**

* Direct marine underwriting background from cargo, specie, yacht, hull, or a specialty reinsurance broker/underwriter
* Good growth trajectory and exposure both internally and externally to broker partners/cedants
