Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging in a wide array of construction and infrastructure projects, contributing to some of the most significant undertakings in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Structural Engineer, you will collaborate closely with project teams to deliver comprehensive civil and structural services, focusing on both Temporary and Permanent Works. Your expertise will be crucial in providing safe and practical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Designing and verifying Temporary Works, utilizing diverse materials and integrating with Permanent Works as necessary.
  • Developing alternative solutions and value engineering strategies to enhance project outcomes.
  • Supporting tender processes and bids, emphasizing buildability and innovation.
  • Conducting technical evaluations of third-party designs to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers within the team.

Candidate Profile

This position is ideal for individuals who:

  • Are chartered engineers or are on the path to becoming chartered.
  • Have a keen interest or experience in Temporary Works Design.
  • Possess a valid UK driving license.
