Job Title: Director of Reporting & Accounting

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer

Location: London or Luxembourg

Compensation: Fixed annual salary plus percentage bonus contingent on personal and corporate performance

Length of contract: Full time, permanent

Summary:
At Blue Monday Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Director of Reporting & Accounting to lead our Financial Reporting team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial reporting, with a strong background in IFRS and consolidation. They will be responsible for managing a team of 12, overseeing reporting compliance across various jurisdictions, and coordinating external audits.

Requirements:

  • EU / UK nationality or a valid work permit for Luxembourg
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in financial reporting, with a strong background in IFRS and consolidation
  • Team management and leadership experience, with a focus on developing and coaching junior staff members
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with fluency in English

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Financial Reporting team of 12
  • Oversight of reporting compliance across various jurisdictions
  • Coordination of external audits, including review of audit fees and communication to the audit committee
  • Ad hoc finance-related projects
