About the Role

The Supplier Relationship and Governance Manager is a key member of our team at Just Group plc, playing a vital role in the management of our Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) programme. This is an exciting time for our TPRM capability, with opportunities for collaboration with business stakeholders, 2nd and 3rd Line teams, suppliers, and the adoption of additional software tooling to enhance TPRM.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a supplier relationship management (SRM) governance framework aligned to our Group Procurement & Outsourcing Policy (GPOP) and regulatory requirements.
  2. Update TPRM policy frameworks to align with regulatory changes and guidance from our Risk and Compliance teams.
  3. Manage our contracts management and TPRM system, driving a programme of enhancements to drive more risk coverage and user acceptance of the system.
  4. Work collaboratively with Relationship Managers across the organisation to ensure they comply with third-party governance processes.
  5. Ensure Relationship Managers meet periodic milestones for governance activities, including monthly/quarterly/annual reviews, annual due diligence questionnaires, annual compliance attestations, materiality assessments, and updating of the Register of Third Parties.
  6. Ensure the quality of TPRM activities are completed in accordance with TPRM framework requirements and in line with our Consumer Duty and ESG requirements.
  7. Lead Relationship Manager workshops or lunch and learn events to advocate for deeper delivery of TPRM.
  8. Lead and manage the direction of the monthly Supplier Relationship Management Committee (SRMC).
  9. Continuously improve and manage the new supplier onboarding process to ensure all material and non-material outsourcing/third-party arrangements owned by the business adhere to GPOP and GPOM.
  10. Update the Group Procurement & Outsourcing Manual (GPOM) biannually.
  11. Support due diligence exercises on existing and proposed suppliers.
  12. Facilitate annual risk reviews and ensure any third-party risks identified are owned and accepted, or have agreed mitigating actions in place.
  13. Compile quarterly risk reports.
  14. Compile annual PRA information requests.
  15. Support the business in maintaining oversight of supplier performance reviews and associated documentation and monitoring their frequency.
  16. Continuously improve performance and risk assessment governance and metrics.
  17. Administer processes and controls to manage all supplier information and act as the primary data controller for supplier data.
  18. Support Compliance and Relationship Managers in understanding the impact of existing and proposed regulatory legislation.
  19. Support Compliance Monitoring and Internal Audit exercises, ensuring actions are completed within deadlines.
  20. Assist with the production of formal documents and policies.
Requirements
  1. Experience in a dedicated SRM or TPRM role.
  2. Ability to work effectively within a decentralised SRM environment.
  3. Financial Services background desirable.
  4. Ability to work with numerous stakeholders across an extensive and varied supplier base.
  5. Supplier database management and reporting.
  6. Commercial awareness.
  7. Knowledge of contract and TPRM fundamentals.
  8. Storytelling TPRM concepts to Relationship Managers and senior management.
  9. High level of attention to detail.
  10. Highly organised and structured ways of working.
  11. System and process development skills.
  12. Formal document writing skills.
  13. Excellent communication skills.
