The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a dedicated Facilities Operations Coordinator to join our Facilities Management team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering essential janitorial services across our properties, ensuring that our environments are safe and conducive for work and learning.

Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will include a variety of facilities management, janitorial, and maintenance duties across multiple buildings. Responsibilities will encompass:
- Routine maintenance of equipment and furnishings
- General building upkeep and service management
- Ensuring the security of premises and surrounding grounds
- Grounds maintenance and landscaping
- Cleaning and tidying of facilities

This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The selected candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be necessary. An unconditional offer of employment will be contingent upon the satisfactory completion of these pre-employment checks.
