We are seeking an experienced Liability Adjuster to join our team at Adjusting Appointments Limited. As a key member of our claims handling team, you will be responsible for proactively handling and settling a mixed caseload of third party Liability claims throughout the South West region.
Key Responsibilities- Establish liability via thorough investigation on each case, providing support and advice on claims issues to policyholders within specified time-frames.
- Manage a portfolio of work consisting of a mixture of employers' liability and public liability claims, including investigate and report only cases and on a cradle to grave basis.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective management and delivery of SLAs and KPIs, as well as proactive Client and Broker interaction to assist in efficient claims handling and business development opportunities.
- Liaise with colleagues across different business areas to ensure each step of the claims process is thorough, collating and recording all necessary statements and evidence as required.
- We are ideally seeking an experienced Liability Adjuster ready for their next move, but may consider less experienced candidates with a background dealing with EL & PL losses.
- Candidates will ideally be working towards professional qualifications such as ACILA, ACII/LLB and will be encouraged to complete qualifications.
- Proven ability to handle the full range of EL/PL and Product liability claims, including claims involving third party property damage.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
