Veterinary Nurse - Animal Care Specialist

GLG Vets is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Watford Park. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and client services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care and services to our clients.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and emergency care, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, managing treatment plans and collaborating with the veterinary team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional communication and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
  • Qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant certifications, such as the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest veterinary practices and technologies.

Shifts:

Experience:
  • Veterinary nurse experience: 1 year (preferred), with a strong understanding of animal care and welfare.
Licence/Certification:
  • RCVS certification (required), demonstrating a commitment to excellence in veterinary care.
