We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at The Lakefields Neurological Centre in Chigwell. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to our service users, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all areas and equipment within the catering department are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Serve food and beverages to patients, staff, and visitors in a professional and customer-friendly manner.
- Assist with receiving and storing incoming supplies, and ensuring all kitchen equipment is clean and stored properly.
- Participate in the control of kitchen paperwork and ensure all duties are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP procedures.
- Experience of working in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Basic Food Preparation skills and knowledge of menu planning and costing.
- An annual salary of £23,692.50.
- The equivalent of 33 days annual leave, plus your birthday off.
