About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join our team in Tiverton. As a key member of our firm, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our clients, including year-end accounts, tax, and bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct tax planning and compliance services for clients, including corporation tax, VAT, and PAYE.
  • Provide bookkeeping and accounting services to clients, including accounts preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver a range of general practice services, including audit, assurance, and advisory services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong background in accounting, with experience in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and bookkeeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
  • AAT or ACCA qualification, or equivalent experience.
