About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Finance and Investment to join our team at Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (857). As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to our teams, ensuring effective financial management and control.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including our Board of Directors, senior leadership team, and external partners.
  • Lead and manage complex financial projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within our organization.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with full membership and evidence of up-to-date continuing professional development.
  • Substantial board level leadership experience and/or system leadership experience within a regulatory or similar environment.
  • Experience of managing highly sensitive situations with stakeholders, including media and political stakeholders.
  • Experience of providing financial leadership, mentorship, and professional development at a very senior level with demonstrable outcomes.
  • Experience of leading highly complex and contentious transformational change at significant scale.
