Job Description

Quantum Science Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Production Chemist to join our team in the development and production of advanced nanomaterials. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning and developing safe and cost-effective manufacturing processes for colloidal quantum dots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for colloidal quantum dots, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with R&D and scale-up team members to transfer technology from research to pilot and full-scale manufacturing.
  • Assess equipment and facilities during the scale-up process, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Continuously optimize and develop existing and new product lines to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes and testing techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or MSc degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related field.
  • Experience in nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, as well as industrial experience in multi-stage process development, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent practical skills, with a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving abilities.
