We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on risk management to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide training and support to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement health and safety strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Good standard of secondary education with demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills.
  • IOSH Managing Safely / IOSH Working Safely course.
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or the willingness to undertake qualification).
  • Previous experience working in the healthcare industry or a similar customer-orientated organization.
  • Track record of successful people and process management, ideally in a multi-functional environment.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety and risk issues and legislation in a healthcare organization.
