About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Drainage and Flood Risk Engineer to join our team at Alfred Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on drainage and flood risk strategies to support planning applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review flood risk assessments and drainage strategy documents
  • Liaise with colleagues and clients to provide commercially aware advice
  • Prepare flood risk assessments to support planning applications
  • Prepare surface water drainage strategies and flood risk assessments to support planning applications
  • Prepare foul water drainage strategies to support planning applications
  • Be fully conversant in the use of software such as Microdrainage/Flow and AutoCAD or their equivalents
  • Have good organisation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Be able to work well under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing environments
  • Be able to manage projects simultaneously
