Community Chemotherapy Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Leaders in Care Recruitment Ltd. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in their own homes across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting blood tests and toxicity assessments
  • Administering IV and oral chemotherapy
  • Performing pump disconnections and line care
  • Providing IM/SC injections
  • Working independently in the community while staying connected with the wider nursing team
  • Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and therapies
  • Contributing to the development of innovative care models
Package and Benefits:
  • Annual salary up to £43,000, negotiable on experience
  • Company car or an extra £4850 car allowance
  • Mileage covered
  • NMC fees paid

Requirements:
  • An active NMC Pin as a Registered RGN Nurse
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy
  • Skills in Cannulation and Venepuncture
  • A valid Driving Licence
  • A SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
