Overall Objective:

To oversee the retrieval and secure transportation of parking revenue to the designated counting facility, ensuring a comprehensive audit trail is maintained throughout the process.


Key Contacts:

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Receive the daily cash collection itinerary from the Team Leader.
  • Notify the Team Leader of any alterations to the route, significant delays, or issues with collection equipment.
  • Execute duties in alignment with the Company's equal opportunities policy.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by undertaking additional tasks as directed by management.

Customer Engagement:
  • Contribute to the implementation of an effective customer service strategy.

Operational Procedures:
  • Sign out necessary cash containers and keys for the day's collection itinerary.
  • Extract cash containers and audit tickets from parking machines as per established protocols.
  • Complete daily trip documentation and assist in machine replenishment as needed.
  • Promptly document and report any defective parking equipment to the Team Leader or Contract Management Team.
  • Utilize and maintain any company equipment assigned for daily operations.
  • Perform duties in accordance with the Quality Assurance systems and procedures.

Financial Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the amount of cash transported does not exceed insured limits.
  • Deliver cash containers to the secure strong room at the operations center.

Qualifications:
Essential:
  • GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English.

Experience:
Essential:
  • Capability to compose straightforward reports.
  • Valid UK Driving License.
  • Proficiency in planning various routes.

Knowledge and Skills:
Essential:
  • Familiarity with parking equipment.
  • Understanding of company policies and procedures.

Performance Metrics:
  • Fulfillment of all contractual obligations to the satisfaction of both the company and the client.
  • Attendance and adherence to daily processes and procedures.

Data Protection and Information Security:
  • Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act regarding confidentiality and security of personal data.
  • Adhere to Marston Information Security Management (ISMS) policies and procedures.
  • Report any suspected incidents or weaknesses in the Information Security Management System to the Line Manager or Information Security Manager.
  • Understand responsibilities to mitigate risks of theft, fraud, or misuse of resources.
  • Stay informed about information security threats and responsibilities to support ISMS in daily operations.

Company Policies:
  • Maintain awareness and compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to the general responsibilities outlined in the Health and Safety Policy.

General Expectations:
  • The post holder is expected to perform any other reasonable duties associated with the role.
  • The position is subject to clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service check.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete SIA training.
