About the JobIn this role, you will work closely with the HR Manager to support and grow the SecuriCare and CliniMed businesses. With an innovative and proactive approach to HR, you will continuously seek ways to improve our department and processes. Your analytical skills will help you identify potential issues and patterns, allowing you to proactively implement solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide an excellent, proactive, and forward-thinking HR service to the company. This includes handling standard HR duties such as employee relations, performance management, absence management, and providing sound advice on our policies and procedures. You will offer support, expert advice, and guidance on a wide range of HR matters to all managers and staff, which may include other group companies, under the supervision of the Group Director of Human Resources. To effectively align our HR strategy with the overall business strategy, you will develop a thorough understanding of the wider business activities of CliniMed and SecuriCare (Medical) Limited.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver an excellent, proactive, and forward-thinking HR service to the company.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business to actively contribute to the development of our Human Resources function and overall business.
- Provide expert advice, coaching, and support to line managers on performance management and employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Take ownership of all typical HR duties such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and related administration.
- Engage in group and local project work as needed.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager and Group Director of Human Resources to develop and implement employment policies and procedures in line with employment legislation, ensuring they are clearly documented and accessible to all staff.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies within the group of companies.
- Participate in training and development activities as required.
- Ensure your own continuous professional development by adhering to the recognized standards of the CIPD.
- Perform other reasonable and appropriate duties as directed by the Human Resources Manager.
- Proven experience in a Human Resources generalist role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
