Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our busy property department at QED Legal. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our lawyers with various tasks, including post-completion work, file opening, quotes, billing, and handling client calls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support our lawyers with post-completion work, including the preparation and submission of documents to lenders and other third parties.
  • Update our case management system, LMS lender exchange, and Help to Buy portals to ensure that all client information and documents are kept up-to-date and compliant.
  • Provide high standards of client care, responding to client queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with our lawyers to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and in accordance with our firm's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar residential conveyancing role, with a strong focus on post-completion work.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail, with the ability to identify and resolve errors or discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with case management systems, including LMS lender exchange and Help to Buy portals.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with colleagues and third parties.
