Position Title: Strategic Project Coordinator
Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract
Weekly Hours: 35 hours
Salary Range: £46,000 - £50,000 per annum
Initial salary placement will typically be at the starting point of the pay scale.
Role Overview: The primary objective of this role is to facilitate and enhance strategic advancements within the Highland Council, concentrating on the effective delivery of business results aligned with our strategic goals. The individual in this position will collaborate closely with the Strategic Improvement Team, engaging with various business units and the broader Transformation Programme to lead and coordinate the design, implementation, and delivery of solutions aimed at transforming business processes and operations.
This team is essential to the Council's mission of digitally evolving service delivery, and the Project Coordinator will be instrumental in harmonizing resources across the ICT Team, managing a diverse array of projects and work packages, and engaging with numerous stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the achievement of desired business outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates should possess a minimum of five years' experience in project and programme management, with a significant focus on digital transformation or ICT-related sectors.
A degree in a numerate, business, digital, or technology-related field is preferred; alternatively, relevant industry qualifications or extensive proven experience demonstrating a comparable level of knowledge and understanding are acceptable.
